SYMPOSIUM XXXVII

Symposium XXXVIi will be held September 27-29, 2005 at the Holiday Inn, Staunton, VA.

We have a TERRIFIC symposium scheduled—you do not have to be a judge to attend. Symposium is open to EVERYONE!  You may attend the entire course or just one lecture.  Only those judges taking the full course for credit may take the point scoring exams.

SYMPOSIUM INSTRUCTORS

Bobbi Heenan, Design

Bobbi Heenan is a NGC Master Judge and Design Instructor; a member of the South Carolina and North Georgia Judges Councils as well as a member of the Creative Floral Arrangers of the Americas and The Carolina Atelier.  She has been exhibiting, teaching and lecturing on design for 30 years throughout the US and South America.  Bobbi presently serves on the NGC Board of Directors as the International Instructor’s Chairman.

Beverly Savage, Horticulture 

Beverly Savage of Salt Lake City, Utah, is an Master Flower Show Judge, and NGC Horticulture Instructor.  Beverly is  a former Director of the Rocky Mountain Region, and a former consultant and judge for the American Rose Society.  She grows miniature roses and is an avid container gardener.

NOTE: Those taking the course for audit or refresher credit MUST attend ALL lectures in their entirety. Only those taking the course for refresher credit will be allowed to take the Point Scoring Exam. Please bring: Pencils/pens, clipboard and Handbook for Flower Shows 2003 Revised Edition

Make directly with Holiday Inn – Staunton.  Lodging cost is $82.00 single/double.  Mention VFGC  (Garden Club) when making reservations for this rate.  A block of rooms will be held until September 2, 2005.  Room rates are subject to change after this date.
