The Virginia Flower Show Judges Council encourages garden club members to become Flower Show Judges and provides scholarships to cover the registration and examination fee for a Flower Show School Course.

Eligibility:
Garden club members who are in good standing with their club may apply for a scholarship to attend any of the Flower Show School courses.  The Garden Club member must belong to a club that is a member of the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc.  The applicant must have successfully completed two Flower Show School Courses before applying for a scholarship.
[Good Standing means the member has paid club dues for the current year.]

Applications:

• Completed applications are submitted to the President of the Virginia Flower Show Judges Council by mail.
• Applications must be received no later than four weeks before the first day of the school.
• Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
• An application must be completed each time an applicant requests a scholarship.

Scholarship Process:
The scholarship will be in the form of a reimbursement to the applicant after the VFGC, Inc. Flower Show School Chairman verifies that the applicant has successfully completed the course - this means that the course is taken for credit and all examinations, including both point scoring exams where applicable, have been passed.
