“Members Are The Link To The Future”

“Members Are The Link To The Future” will be the theme for the 2011-2013 administration.  The term ICE is used on cell phones to give a number to call In Case of an Emergency.  Our Emergency call is to INVITE new members to join our organization, COMMUNICATE with anyone you know about the opportunities available to members of a garden club, and EDUCATE members about the many areas available for them to learn about gardening, floral design, horticulture and ways to improve the environment around us.

New members bring new ideas and help to our clubs by the increased support they can give to our projects and meetings.  An opportunity to reach out to other areas in our community can also come from new members.  New clubs are needed to have projects that can beautify and improve areas that do not have a club at this time.  Let us all work toward helping these areas have the same opportunities we have and support them in getting started with a garden club.

The NGC President’s theme of  “Proudly Serving Our Members and Communities” gives us the tools to Increase our membership through the Communication with our communities about the Educational opportunities available to them within the garden clubs in their towns and cities.

We will continue to support all other National Garden Clubs, Inc. projects keeping in mind that “Members Are The Link To the Future.”
